Straight A's Academy
Straight A's Academy is an extended learning program which offers academic support through cultural literacy. The program has a strong emphasis on daily reading logs, writing, spelling and poetry. Straight A's Academy also provides hands on monthly thematic cultural projects and cultural celebrations. The program encourages the Arts with a Pan African focus such as learning African dance, singing Bob Marley songs, making Hip Hop beats to creating Afro Latin and indigenous visual art masks.
Straight A's Academy is a drop-in program located in Grove Hall, Dorchester.
P.A.C.E. Straight A’s Academy currently partners with Boston Public Schools as well as other community and residential organizations.
