P.A.C.E. Uganda Umoja ProjectInstitute for Pan African Cultural Education supports KATE ORPHANAGE MOTHER CARE & NURSERY SCHOOL (KOMNS) in Southwestern, Uganda by providing resources and working together to help children in need. Together, the Institute for Pan African Cultural Education Inc., and KOMNS formed P.A.C.E. UGANDA; to learn, engage and understand the history, culture and the people of Uganda, while committing to service learning projects, advocating for quality education, and supporting a cultural exchange project for vulnerable youth both in the USA and in Uganda. In Uganda KOMNS provide food, clothing and basic needs of the children in addition to elementary education; teaching them strong moral values and how to love and respect each other. In December 2018, P.A.C.E. Uganda will launch it's first pen-pal exchange between students in P.A.C.E. Straight A's Academy of Boston, MA USA and KOMNS in Kampala Uganda.
