Since 2005 P.A.C.E opened its doors at the Social Justice Academy (SJA) as an after school extended learning program for high school students. It was there, that P.A.C.E started One Luv dance and the Social Justice through the Arts curriculum working with teachers and local Boston artists. With over 75 students’ participating in the P.A.C.E. after school program, SJA become one of the first high schools in Boston Public Schools with a successful extended day learning program.
With great encouragement and support, P.A.C.E decided to expand its opportunities for youth by becoming a nonprofit organization; adding programs, projects, services and launching the Straight A’s Initiative; Arts, Academics, Awareness is Achievement.
Within five years, P.A.C.E. created the Straight A's Academy which includes programming for students ages 4-10. In addition, P.A.C.E. collaborated with local schools and community organizations in partnership for youth development; through its community outreach, youth advocacy and educational study abroad projects.
P.A.C.E.has impacted well over a thousand students in cultural education and continues to provide resources and support to community members and families throughout Greater Boston.
